Renee Perle Inspired Cloche
A close friend discovered and shared with me the gorgeous Renee Perle, muse to French photographer Jacques Henri Lartigue. She was Romanian -Jewish born and moved to Paris to begin modeling first working with French dressmaker Doeuillet. She met Lartigue in 1930 and they continued their photographic collaboration thought the years while Renee lived with her Lartigue and his girlfriend.
She is quoted as being part of the inspiration behind John Galliano’s gorgeous fall 2007 (a favorite of mine)
Renee has defiantly been added to my roster of muses. She is the essence of the Jazz age, lacquered hair seductive eyes, small cupids bow lips, Gorgeous!
